Natalia Abraham Coelho has won the Women’s Physique division at the 2022 Mr. Olympia, which was held Dec. 15-17 at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. She managed to edge out Sarah Villegas, who came in second place ahead of Brooke Walker in third.

This year’s Olympia marked the tenth anniversary of the Women’s Physique category. Reigning two-time champion Sarah Villegas was determined to defend the title and create history by adding the third trophy to her glittering resume. She went into the show tied with former champion Shanique Grant in the second spot for the winningest competitor ever, with four-time winner Juliana Malacarne leading the list.

Grizzled veteran Natalia Abraham Coelho was targeting her first Sandow trophy. She proved to be one of the most consistent athletes to have never won the Olympia as she stayed in the top three for the last four years. Meanwhile, Brooke Walker returned for her second appearance at the most prestigious fitness showcase in the world. Budding prospects Sophie Leo and Kristy Cox showed potential in a stacked event.

Villegas stood out from the lineup with her lower body muscle development along with Coelho, who brought an excellent package. The ladies went head to head in the final callout to stake their claim as the number one in the world.

Natalia Abraham Coelho emerged as the champion of the Women’s Physique Olympia. It may not have been easy, but she managed to dethrone Villegas with her muscle size, definition, and symmetry to get the win.
