“Don’t get it f**ked up, I’m the baddest Jackson around this motherf**ker. Now if we can get the money right, Rampage got a problem on his hands. Where the bag at!”

Well ‘Rampage’ didn’t take long to respond to the call out in the most perfect way ever:

50 cent and sports aficionado met with Bellator MMA boss Scott Coker earlier this month and appeared to be signing a contract of some form.

Jackson (37-11), a former UFC light heavyweight champion and Pride FC veteran, was last competed against Chael Sonnen and came up short in the first round of the Bellator Heavyweight Grand Prix. This is second straight loss after dropping a decision to rival Muhammad ‘King Mo’ Lawal at Bellator 175.

Is Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, 42 is serious? he has no background in MMA but he got some amateur boxing experience.

Coker expressed the meeting as a general discussion of how Bellator signs and recruits new talent, which doesn’t exactly throw cold water on the idea of rapper 50 Cent fighting for the promotion.

“I explained to him a lot about our fighter-recruitment system and how we build athletes and sign free agents,” Coker told MMAjunkie when asked what the hell was going on. “He was interested. He had a lot of questions. A lot of good questions.”

No doubt an MMA fight with 50 Cent would be a massive money and attention maker for them. Let’s wait and see what Bellator MMA do next about this.
