Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson Defeated Wanderlei Silva In Their Fourth Meeting Via Second-Round TKO
Quinton Jackson and Wanderlei Silva fought each other for the fourth time in the co-main event of Bellator 206 on Saturday night at SAP Center in San Jose and as we all just witnessed “Rampage” tied the score to 2-2.
In the start, things were slow moving. Rampage takes the center and slowly pushed forward while Silva kept his distance to start the fight. Jackson cut his opponent, sending him falling backward, but Silva recovered. A couple of powerful blows landed for Silva that initiated Rampage to clinch and landed a massive shot with occasional knees to the body.
By the second frame, Silva hurled some great shots, but Jackson was taking over. Things quickly simmered, Rampage wobble Silva then held him against the cage. Shortly after, Rampage landed a right hand that floored Wanderlei and led to ground strikes to get the finish.
Jackson (38-13) now won two in a row. Silva now 35-14-1 (1 NC).
