Former WWE Superstar Jack Swagger Meets Beef Plant Worker T.J. Jones On Saturday Night

Jack Swagger had successful MMA debut at Bellator 214, where he earned a first-round arm-triangle victory over J.W. Kiser.

The ex-WWE legend will fight again this weekend at Bellator 221. This time, his rival is a beef plant worker T.J. Jones. Jones had ups and downs in his previous two fights, one win and one loss.

T.J. “Tombstone” Jones seemed delighted at the press conference, where he discussed his potential strategy for Swagger’s dangerous wrestling and looked back on the rival’s previous bout.

“I thought his opponent was silly, his opponent put himself against the cage, allowed Jake to do exactly what he wanted to do. You know, you just have to come in with a different game plan when it’s fighter with a wrestling of his caliber.”

Jones also described that wonderful feeling of sharing a stage with such legends like Michael Chandler and Patricio “Pitbull” Freire. (h/t MMAJunkie.com)

“It’s probably one of the most humbling experiences of my life. You’ve got nothing but world-class champions up here, and then you’ve got Jake. So it’s very cool to be up here with these guys.”

T.J. has a great backup plan if he fails in MMA.

“If I lose, I just go back to the beef plant.”

What are your thoughts on this do you think Jack Swagger will easily pull a win?
