Bellator 198 Fight Card: Fedor Vs. Mir

Bellator Heavyweight Grand Prix comes to the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois this Saturday night (April 28, 2018).

The quarterfinal fight headlines the Bellator 198 card which features former UFC heavyweight champion Frank Mir (18-11) who is making his Bellator debut against former Pride FC champion, Fedor Emelianenko (36-5, 1 NC). Chael Sonnen will take on the winner of this fight after Chael kicked off the tournament by beating Quinton Jackson.

This will be Mir’s first contest since 2016 when he headlined UFC Fight Night 85 and currently riding on a two-fight skid. Emelianenko made his Bellator debut last year, which resulted in a loss to Matt Mitrione via knockout.

The co-main event features a featherweight division, where UFC veteran Sam Sicilia takes on Emmanuel Sanchez.
