Face-slapping champion Vasily Kamotsky recently dabbled in a sport he’s not particularly known for.

Kamotsky has been pushing the boundaries of entertainment

As a former Russian farmer turned slap fighting contestant, Kamotsky garnered a viral following on social media. He won a regional slap fighting competition in the country and became a YouTube superstar from his range of outrageous uploads.

Having amassed more than 50 million views on his YouTube channel, ‘The Dumpling’ continued to push the boundaries of entertainment and sports with some heavy-hitting slap knockouts. He started out with innocuous uploads that showed his training technique of slapping a watermelon.

Earlier in April, Kamotsky made news when he fought in a phone box in the middle of a frozen lake with a competitor less than half his size with no gloves on. The relatively smaller opponent was credited to have been a mixed martial artist coming in at 62kg (136lb) compared to the Siberian’s giant stature of 142kg (313lb).

It should come as no surprise that Kamotsky dominated his much smaller lightweight opponent.

However, he seems to have found the right opponent to match his size in bare-knuckle boxing.

Taking to Instagram after the fight, Vasily Kamotsky shared a photo of his face displaying the brutal injuries he suffered in the bout. He looked badly beat up with a bloody eye and battered on the top right side of his face.

Speaking to Marca about the bare-knuckle contest, Kamotsky revealed that he’d taken part in the dangerous contest against the advice of his team who suggested he not do so. “They told me not to fight and my argument for doing so was banal,” Kamotsky said. “‘I want to fight’. Well, I got into the fight, and look at my face!”

The colossal slapper seemed to be in good spirits as he shared a follow-up post of him at a jewelry shop with his partner with the caption that read “I’ll buy it, don’t hit me anymore.”
