What’s next for Thiago Alves? His manager Ali Abdelaziz has an answer for that.
Alves vs. Perry
According to Abdelaziz, the BKFC Middleweight Champion is still eyeing a fight with former UFC star Mike Perry next. Alves apparently wants to fight ‘Platinum’ sometime in June.
“Thiago is ready for June to fight Mike Perry,” Abdelaziz told MMA Junkie. “It’s the biggest fight Bare Knuckle FC can make right now. It’s going to be fireworks and I think these two guys are going to put on a great fight for everybody,”

Both Mike Perry and Thiago Alves have been perfect since their UFC departures.
Perry would go 2-0, winning in Triad Combat and also being victorious in his BKFC debut against Julian Lane. Alves is also 2-0, scoring wins over Julian Lane and Ulysses Diaz. ‘Pitbull’ currently holds the BKFC middleweight strap.
Mike Perry Wants A Crack At Gold
‘Platinum’ has been eyeing that belt since joining the BKFC roster. After going the distance with Lane, Perry wants the fast track to the title.
“Absolutely, I do (want to fight for the title),” Perry told MMA Junkie post-fight. “I just need a couple of months to heal and strengthen some things. I’ll be working within that time.”
