- MMA fans online accused Conor McGregor of not planning to return to fighting after he drank a can of beer inside the ring at BKFC 63
- “Notorious” is eyeing a UC return later this year or in December
Conor McGregor got MMA fans believing he is no longer interested in fighting after his recent stunt at BKFC 63.
Conor did a wild promo inside the ring
McGregor has been undoubtedly hands-on as a part owner of BKFC and he is even using BKFC events as platform to spontaneously promote his other businesses. In fact, “Notorious” flew to Sturgis, South Dakota to do exactly that.
The former UFC two-division was accompanied by ring girls as he made his epic entrance to the ring. McGregor the hyped the live fans by downing a can of his Forged Irish Stout beer before doing a little promo for BKFC.
“What’s more bada** than bare-knuckle and American rock-and-roll? Nothing, baby, that’s what … Look at the fights we’ve just had. Look at the fights still to come … Look out into the crowd. This is the baddest plot of land in all of the USA today, and I had to come for the taste. Thank you all so much for your support. I hope you’re having a great night here at the ‘Bare Knuckle Fighting.’ And yeah, take off the gloves and fight bi*ch. There’s nothing like bare knuckle,” McGregor said.

Fans think Conor isn’t serious about returning
Prior to this, McGregor expressed his interest in making his UFC return later this year. Reports then stated that “Notorious” might be booked for a fight in December, possibly against Michael Chandler again.
However, some MMA fans don’t see that happening. They assume that the Irish MMA superstar doesn’t have the passion for fighting anymore and chugging a can of beer in front of the crowd certainly proves it.
Here’s what some of them had to say.
“Yea chandler wasted 2yrs of a call out for this my GOAT cooked.”
“He ain’t fighting in December”
“He’s not fighting this year is he”
“Yeah the Chandler fight is never happening”
“Chandler watching this and wiping his tears, bro is never coming back”
“This guy is a marketing machine now. Good for him, but i don’t see the fighter dawg in him.”
Just before July ended, McGregor was slapped with a two-year ban for “dangerous driving” back in Dublin. As it stands, it is yet to be known what the UFC plans to do with “Notorious.”
