Conor McGregor has already used his platform to push BKFC, and now the promotion has put him at the center of a new FOX Nation project.
BKFC announced that McGregor will host World’s Baddest Man, a documentary competition series targeted for a summer 2027 premiere. The format will follow fighters from around the world through a bracket-style bare-knuckle tournament, ending with a live winner-take-all championship finale on FOX Nation.
“Conor McGregor is one of the most recognizable figures in combat sports, and we’re excited to partner with him on a bold new original series unlike any other,” FOX Nation president Lauren Petterson said in the announcement. “World’s Baddest Man combines premium documentary storytelling with world-class competition, providing FOX Nation subscribers unprecedented access to unique athletes while showcasing the grit, determination and heart required to compete for one of the biggest prizes in combat sports.”
McGregor is BKFC’s co-owner and will serve as host and an executive producer on the series.
“BKFC has changed the game of combat sports, and I couldn’t be more excited to partner with FOX Nation and unleash The World’s Baddest Man Tournament,” McGregor said. “This tournament will bring together the toughest fighters on the planet in a true test of heart, grit, and willpower, and I’m proud to be part of something that will set a new standard for what it means to be the baddest man in the world.”

McGregor’s BKFC Role Arrives During UFC Injury Fallout
The timing keeps McGregor visible in combat sports while his own fighting future is paused. He recently told fans after UFC 329 that surgery, prehab, martial arts practice, and one final UFC fight were next after the Max Holloway rematch ended by injury.
For BKFC, the series extends a media push built around crossover names, violent finishes, and a product that sells itself on bare-knuckle consequences. The promotion has already had attention-grabbing moments on MiddleEasy, including Diego Sanchez chasing an overturned BKFC loss to Austin Trout and Eddie Alvarez explaining the all-gas pull of bare-knuckle fighting.
BKFC has not announced the tournament field, weight structure, full schedule, or final event location. Until those details land, World’s Baddest Man is a McGregor-fronted concept with a FOX Nation home, a planned 2027 launch window, and a live final still to be filled in.
