- A BKFC fighter ended up nearly unrecognizable after his opponent brutally battered his face
- The ringside doctor had to stop the fight to avoid further and irreversible damages
A BKFC 68 bout had to be stopped after one of the fighters had his face disarranged due to damages.
A literally distorted face
Kyle Redfearn and Danny Moir took on each other at BKFC 68’s preliminary bout this past Saturday in Newcastle, England. The two vicious middleweights wasted no time and immediately traded hard shots early in the fight.
Redfearn got the better of Moir in the opening round, successfully landing punches after punches. However, “The Destroyer” bounced back in the second round and inflicted damage on Redfearn.
In the final seconds of the round, the ringside doctor had to pause the fight to check on Redfearn’s distorted face. Upon taking a closer look, the doctor decided to stop the bout after seeing Redfearn was already almost unrecognizable.

A disappointing return and debut
The rare stoppage win saw Moir improving his BKFC record to 2-0. On the other hand, Redfearn had a disappointing BKFC debut.
Redfearn made his combat sports return at BKFC 68 after a seven-year hiatus. He last fought in a boxing match in 2017 but had already fought 16 times as a pro in MMA. Logging an 8-8 record.
A few months ago, BKFC also made headlines after a fighter snapped his ankle and attempted to reposition it by himself.
