- A BKFC fighter broke his ankle and put it back to its place by himself while the fight is ongoing
- The referee stopped the fight but the fighter was able to stand and walk despite the broken ankle
A BKFC fighter left fans in awe after snapping and resetting his ankle by himself before trying to continue fighting.
A real beast
The Conor McGregor co-owned promotion made quite some headlines Trevor Bozniak broke and repaired it himself in the middle of the fight. The 47-year-old took on the much younger Kayden Giroux in a BKFC Prospect Series showdown.
While many expected to see a battle between experience and emerging talent, the fight was highlighted by a gruesome incident. The older Bozniak accidentally landed bad on his own ankle, horribly snapping it in the process.
Despite the nasty injury, not one bit of pain was seen on the face of Bozniak, who repositioned it while in the middle of the ring. He even got back to his feet right away and attempted to continue fighting. However, veteran referee Dan Miragliotta decided that Bozniak should be checked by the ringside physician and called to stop the bout three minutes into the opening round.

McGregor has been promoting BKFC
Apart from this incident, BKFC has also been gaining traction lately because of McGregor. Since becoming a co-owner of BKFC, “Notorious” has made quite some epic appearances in some of the bare-knuckle boxing’s events. Just last month, the former UFC two-division champ delighted the crowd at BKFC 63 by showing up and entering the ring to do a promo.
McGregor even got some online fans thinking he is no longer serious about making a UFC return after he downed a can of his Forged Irish Stout beer in front of live audiences.
