A Lesson in New Jersey Bear Grappling: The battle for underhooks is nature

The UFC’s next big money making idea is located in the suburbs of New Jersey. At the conclusion of The Ultimate Fighter 20 the UFC will crown a 115 pound strawweight champion but after that how can the brain trust at Zuffa world headquarters make the fastest growing sport in the world grow even faster? The answer is bear fights!

Since pro MMA is still illegal in the state of New York these poor 600 pound oversized Teddy Ruxpins were forced to take their fight to streets of Rockaway, NJ. Black bears have amazing takedown defense. The star potential of these Jersey bears just oozes out of their paws. They fight up and down hills, in the streets, on brick staircases, and smash Kmart patio furniture without any regard for their own cuddly bear bodies.

A car drives right through the street where these two Yogis are attempting to put on a grappling clinic and yet the bear working off his furry back refuses to give up his triangle choke attempt.  What heart! What dedication to your jiu-jitsu training!

Dana White please reconsider your stance on interspecies fights inside the world famous Octagon. Coming in 2015, only on pay per view North American Black Bear number one versus UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov in front of 70,000 MMA fans at New Jersey’s MetLife stadium.  UFC give us bears fights and while you’re at it give us cross divisional champion versus champion super fights that also feature bears. Khabib needs this.
