Jon Jones devoured Glover Teixeira’s heart, body, and mind at UFC 172

Watching Bones systematically eviscerate Glover Teixeira in a method that can only be hypothesized by Harvard scientists makes me realize that Daniel Cormier has about as much of a chance at beating Jon Jones as I do dating Gina Carano. That’s a really long sentence, but grammatically it’s correct. However the fact still remains, Jones simply will not let Cormier get in the vicinity to even land a shot. Jones’ arms are so long that he could be on his sofa in New Mexico watching his arms in Las Vegas on PPV fight Cormier. That thought should be punctuated with a really cool illustration, but throughout the years I’ve somehow forgot to draw.

If there was a Mount Rushmore of MMA dominance, it would be Fedor, GSP, Silva, Megumi, and Jones’ head would be freshly etched in by the end of 2014. The greatest thing is despite how much you dislike him as a human being (and judging from the comments on MiddleEasy I know a lot of you don’t favor him), the guy keeps on winning. It’s like your negative thoughts have no impact on anything he does in his life, imagine that.

That’s about as perfect of a performance I’ve ever seen Jones pull off inside the Octagon. Glover had 25 minutes to land his hardest punch, he did, and nothing happened. That should tell you more about Jones’ chin than Glover’s punching power.

Props to Jones in his continued dominance, and look out for him to move up in our MiddleEasy Frate Trane List. Props to Zprophet for the .gifs.
