Leave it to the World Series of Fighting to ignite 2014 with a little bit of pizazz. On a separate note, I was going to write that there should be a restaurant called ‘Pizazz Pizza,’ until I actually used my confused brain cells and searched the internet to find a place located in the Outer Banks of North Carolina called (obviously) ‘Pizazz Pizza.’ Before MiddleEasy, I actually designed and coded the website for the biggest real-estate company in the Outer Banks, and then I left North Carolina and moved to Los Angeles due to being absolutely miserable out there. I know that’s more information than you bargained for, but alas all of you still read it and feel just a little bit closer to me. My life will become a part of your own, and there’s nothing you can do about it aside from showering me with an abundance of neatly-wrapped gifts when my birthday comes along.
So we all know how this co-promotion game works. We’ve seen it before in MMA and it always ends up with Russians asking for a ton of cash and eventually shutting down both organizations.
Earlier this morning, @MMAWorldSeries tweeted out this blurry image of a proposed co-promotional PPV with Bellator, and judging from their hypothetical match-ups, it would actually be a pretty entertaining card. Sure there are some mismatches like Rampage vs. Spong, but fights like Arlovski vs. Minakov have me genuinely intrigued. Check it out.
