Nate Diaz is pissed off. Well, he seems perpetually in a state of pissed off, like some sort of mean mug homeostasis, but last night he was especially hype. Diaz pressured Michael Johnson and stacked one-two’s on his dome piece at will while taunting in top Diaz form. It was nuts from the very start. At one point, Nate even pointed and laughed at Johnson’s futile attempts to successfully punk the un-punkable. Even after the bell had finally sounded, Diaz was holding onto a knee bar and pumping his fist while Johnson executed perfect little brother heel kicks to Nate’s thigh.
However, after the now infamous post-fight interview (which was largely dead air for most viewers) it’s hard to even remember how crazy the fight was. It’s pretty much a Diaz Brother’s calling card at this point to wild out after a fight, but this time Nate leveled up a couple of classes. Diaz unleashed a straight onslaught of profanity for at least a minute calling out Conor McGregor. The same man which two other fighters called out on the same card at two different weights.
If that wasn’t awesome enough, to finish out this bad ass trilogy we now have this video of Nate Diaz featuring signature mumbling and saying ninja over and over again. Diaz hilariously mentions every kind of ninja he can think of throughout the interview like Bubba from Forest Gump: American ninja, Ninja Gaiden, Irish ninja etc. But perhaps the most intriguing thing is that he says the fight with McGregor is on:
