First there was kangaroo MMA, then somewhere in-between there was Pizza Rat. Now, especially thanks to the growing combat sports culture in Ireland thanks to the popularity of Conor McGregor, there is seagull MMA. Shot in Dublin’s city square, you’ll witness a battle showing a surprising amount of hubris from both contenders. There’s something they’re fighting over, probably food, but also probably pride. Neither bird wants to give an inch, despite one clearly overpowering the other.
The closest thing to bird grappling is seen as both seagulls jockey for position. They’re probably staring into each other’s avian eye as best they can, sending psychic messages of bravado through muffled squawks and attempts to lift off into the Irish sky.
In the end, the fight is considered a draw, even though one bird challenges the judge’s decison.
