Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson Blasts Through Hendricks Because He’s a Super Hero.

High above the mucky-muck, castle made of clouds, there sits Wonderboy, sitting oh so proudly.

It was do or die time for Johny Hendricks. With all the weight issues and a tough decision against the current champion Robbie Lawler, the last thing Hendricks needed was to lose to an upcoming contender. It only took Stephen Thompson a little over three minutes to finish off Hendricks with machine gun punches of death.

Thompson fought Hendricks like he was on Alpha Brain and armed with a box-cutter. The performance was damn near surgical. Wonderboy sent lightning kicks at Bigg Rigg’s head and body at will. Hendricks tried to get a takedown, but Thompson was endowed with heroic strength and denied this privilege to Johny. It seemed like Hendricks was lost after that, but Thompson was clear in the present moment and blitzed himself to the biggest win of his career.

Due to the fact that Lawler is possessed by a demon, there isn’t too many bodies left for the war lord to sacrifice besides sequels of other exciting fights or potentially bad style match-ups the UFC is clearly trying to steer away from (considering the Demian Maia/Matt Brown booking in May). But have no fear, Wonderboy is hear!

It looks like he’s put himself directly in line for a shot at Robbie Lawler for the UFC Welterweight title and adds to the string of incredibly bonkers fights.
