It’s pretty wild that even after three years, if you Google ‘Shinya Aoki’ the two most popular word additions to his name are ‘rainbow’ and ‘pants.’ Aoki’s technicolor fighting spats will never escape the memory of MMA fans — like Jim Carrey will forever be remembered as playing Ace Ventura despite what role he takes, Shinya Aoki will always be that guy that wore rainbow pants — and broke Hirota’s arm at Dynamite!! 2009.
