Remember Tyrone Spong? From the humble beginning of receiving burner phones as parting gifts after World Series of Fighting victories, Spong is now bodying poor boxing rookies as a pro pugilist. Spong, a former top ranked heavyweight kickboxer for many years, is now steamrolling fellow boxing newbs as he tries his hand at the sweet science.
Spong is now 4-0 as a professional boxer and people who are unaware of the “Google search engine” are apparently matching him up with other boxers who have less than five pro fights under their belt. The result of putting Spong in with these local Punch Out (!) Circuit boxers is nothing but highlights for the ex-Glory heavyweight. Over the weekend Spong nearly punched a hole through a local Florida boxer’s skull.
