Chris Weidman is to Anderson Silva what Matt Serra was to Georges St. Pierre. Of course that comparison means nothing until their rematch later this year, but you guys get the drift. You felt that drift, and it was chilly. Tokyo drift is the same thing, but you can only feel it if you take your shoes off when you’re inside and bow to your elders.
In UFC’s perpetual 2013 media tour, they took a trip to Brazil in order for journalists to sling their questions at UFC brass. I don’t even use that word, ‘brass,’ but it sounds like something that I should incorporate in the MiddleEasy lexicon. UFC brass is worth less than UFC gold — and fortunately for Chris Weidman, he has one in the shape of an enormous belt. He got it from doing the impossible, and he decided to answer an innumerable amount of questions about himself and Anderson Silva yesterday during the UFC media tour. Check it out.
