UFC 175: Uriah Hall Just Won a Fight With a Horribly Mangled Toe

Remember when Jon Jones nearly lost his UFC light heavyweight title to Chael Sonnen due to a broken toe?

Uriah Hall just showed up the champ.

Despite breaking the second toe on his right foot just minutes into the first round of his bout with Thiago Santos, Hall went toe-to-toe (we’re sorry!) with the guy for the whole fight, giving no **** whatsoever and winning a unanimous decision.

Hell, Uriah was even kicking Santos with the same damn foot just to make a point. And that point was the BONE STICKING OUT OF HIS FLESH.

Eventually, the ringside doctors caught wind of the injury—and you’re not gonna believe this—but Uriah and his corner actually convinced them that his toe was like that before. Forget the “Performance of the Night” bonus, give that man an Emmy.

That wasn’t the end, though. Uriah kept kicking with that foot and mangled his toe even worse, exacerbating the compound ****ing fracture and while fighting through a massive jumping kick to the groin on top of everything else.

Amazing.

Uriah Hall may have toes of paper, but the man’s got balls of steel.

We’re sorry we ever doubted you, Uriah. Please forgive us. And get an ice bath for that foot.
