Say hello to the new “champ champ”, Rob Emerson!? This guy was in season five of The Ultimate Fighter with the likes of Nate Diaz, Gray Maynard, Cole Miller!
He actually was eliminated from the show and was put back on. The crazy journey didn’t stop there. Emerson had run in the UFC, then found himself in Bellator, but he has really hit his stride at Victory Fighting. He defeated Shawn West to win the VFC bantamweight title and just yesterday he bumped up to featherweight and took Ryan Roberts’ VFC featherweight title from him.
The vet did what you do when you stack up that gold: Call out the UFC. How incredible would it be if Rob Emerson came back to fight in the UFC in 2017? Well, we’re rooting for you. Maybe he could rematch Nik Lentz, he’s been getting mouthy with just about everyone lately.
