Thanks to a (allegedly) corrupt Nevada Athletic Commission, Nick Diaz’s last suspension was like an extended retirement. Sonnen needs a fight. Diaz needs a fight.
So why doesn’t the UFC book Diaz vs. Sonnen for their first show in New York this November?
At this point of their respective careers both Sonnen and Diaz are in pursuit of money fights. Being part of what is sure to be a stacked UFC 205 event in New York City, ensures that Team Stockton and Team West Linn will both be paid with piles of unmarked dollar bills.
