Rumor: Eying super fights Demetrious Johnson declines Mike Dolce, goes on Ickey Woods’ Cold Cut Diet

Too nice for his own good, rumblings have surfaced Demetrious Johnson has declined the services of renowned MMA food therapist Mike Dolce for his next training camp. The leading practitioner of the “Dolce Diet”, Mike may or may not have wanted to Johnson to cut to down to 115 pounds to be at his “maximum” fighting potential. Instead Johnson, the 125 pound champion of the UFC, may be going in a different more salt based direction in his career.

Tired of unprocessed meats and fighting at 125 pounds, Johnson may employ the services of highly regarded celebrity dietician Ickey Woods. Famous for a reality based television commercial where filmmakers followed Woods to the super market where he purchased cold cuts, the former NFL running back turned diet expert could really help Johnson bulk up for potential super fights  at 135 pounds.

When asked about his meal plan for his next fight camp an enthusiastic Johnson said “Got some cold cuts with Ickey Woods”. With the help from Ickey Woods weight management guru and sliced deli meats, reports are surfacing that Johnson may be able to gain enough weight for potential super fights at 135, 145, 155, and 170 pounds! Sorry Mike Dolce. What a mighty mouse Johnson would be with 45 pounds of extra cold cut based weight around his body.
