Bellator kickboxing you have our attention. John Wayne Parr saw the movie Kickboxer back in the 1980s then he went out and actually lived the film’s plotline in real life. Legendary. With over 125 fights under his belt, the 10 time world Muay Thai champion broke the news that in 2017 he will be fighting under Bellator Kickboxing umbrella.
With Bellator Kickboxing expected to hold more shows in 2017, look for Parr to play a key role expanding Spike TV kickboxing arm of their combat sports line-up. According to Parr Bellator Kickboxing will be holding shows in New York and California, it wouldn’t shock anyone if JWP fought on one or both those events Parr could also anchor the kickboxing portion of any future Bellator Dynamite hybrid events.
“Well after not much sleep after hearing the news. I’m happy to announce 2017 i will be part of @bellatorkb promotions.
Big thank you to my homie @hansmolenkamp who has helped me so much. For years he has sponsored me with @triumphunited gear. Last year hooked me up with @monsterenergy as a sponsor. Yesterday put me on the phone to speak personally with Scott Coker while they were both in London.
Words can not deserve how happy I am to be given this opportunity, and to once again represent my country Australia on such a massive promotion.
First fight should be early next year. Possibly either California or New York!
