Pride coming to China?

I’m not sure if any of you guys caught what Bas Rutten said on Inside MMA last night but it was the most promising thing I’ve heard since I found out I wasnt the paternal father of…well that’s another story. Yesterday, Rutten said that he made a pit stop in China last week to check out this fighting organization who is putting a bid in to be the next Pride FC! Now I don’t know if he said they wanted to be like Pride FC or if they are actually transforming into Pride FC. See, Pride FC is far from dead. Not even close. Check out Pride FC’s site. They’re talking about UFC 101. Something’s going on here man. I’m no Columbo, but I did a little investigation and found out that there actually is a huge MMA organization that just spawned out of China.

It’s called The Art of War Fighting Championship and the shit looks like it was dipped in rawesome sauce and served with a platter of ‘Hell yeah’. They just had their 12th event on May 23rd called ‘Invincible’ and from the looks of it, they have some heavy hitters over there (they even have Mike friggin Buffer!). Things are looking delicious in China for MMA. Tasty and delicious, like that #23 lunch special I had yesterday. Look out for this organization, and remember where you heard it from.
