Overeem is the end result of Voltron

Brett Rogers is the black Fedor. Straight up. Everyone gives the guy shit for not fighting top notch heavyweights but he’s 10-0. Once Strikeforce realizes that this dude can go toe to toe with any heavyweight out there, he will get his shot at the heavyweight title. Know who else is an undefeated heavyweight? Shane Carwin. Let those two battle and guaranteed it’s not going past round one. But until that day happens, Brett Rogers has to face your boy from K-1, Alistair Overeem. Physically, Overeem is a god damn transformer. In fact, screw the transformer…dude is the end result of Voltron forming. Did he roid? Probably, but who the hell cares. This is not baseball. We don’t need the FBI investigating whether or not players juiced or not. Protect me from terrorism, not heavy hitters…baseball or MMA. But all of this is entirely beyond the point.

Its been confirmed for quite a while now that Overeem is going to leave Japan and finally hit the states to join Strikeforce. His debut fight? A motherfucking galaxy clashing battle with Brett Rogers. Holy shit man, you don’t need a large hadron collider when you have these dudes in the wrong. Most people don’t even know what the large hadron collider is, but take my word for it…that’s an awesome reference.

Is it a good fight for Brett Rogers? Hell no man, Alistair Overeem schooled Badr Hari in K1 dynamite early this year. But somehow Overeem can’t get through Remy Bojansky so he’s not that invincible. Some people would even say Bojansky winning K1 against Badr Hari was somewhat of a fluke (which it sort of was, Hari went ‘Gilbert Ivel’ for like 12 seconds in that match) but the dude has defended his title twice so maybe he is a force. Hell, maybe Bojansky needs to come to the world of MMA and see how he would fair against the likes of Paul Buentello (Headhunter is raw as life).

My prediction, I hope Brett Rogers wins. He’s a world class fighter. But, if you put it all on paper…I think Overeem is going to take him. I hope to God I’m wrong though.
