The #FreeNickDiaz movement was a success. When pushed with their backs against the wall by a big government agency like the Nevada Athletic Commission the entire MMA community from fans to fighters rallied around Nick Diaz. There was a clear wrong happening right in front of our face and rather just shake our fist in rage and move on, the MMA world actually did some cool shit with the #FreeNickDiaz rally cry.
Diaz is still appealing is five year monster ban from the NAC and the odds are cooler heads will prevail and the state athletic commission career death sentence won’t hold strong. Real recognizes real and Diaz wants to thank everyone for the support.
