Before we go into this, I want to state that I’m way into Westerns. If there ever was a genre of film that best expressed where we as a people came from, it would be Westerns. All of the classics have had crazy, long-lasting effects on our world of pop culture and bleed over all of the damned time. If you need proof of that, look no further than Michael Chiesa’s reply to Joe Lauzon asking for his Performance of the Night bonus for them to scrap again.
Michael Chiesa ends up quoting Doc Holiday as portrayed by Val Kilmer, claiming that he’s Lauzon’s Huckleberry. I dunno, it seems like he might be stretching to me, but I’ll give him an A for effort for quoting Tombstone.
