The preconceived notions of MMA as human cockfighting still pervade to people not in the know, which is a shame for our beloved sport. MMA has been on FOX at primetime and still can’t shake a stigma of an no holds barred murderfest between two roided-up bald men with barded wire tattoos. I was recently at a UFC event which yielded multiple “show us your tits” from the drunk crowd members, so maybe we get what we deserve. But still, our sport has grown by leaps and bounds. We don’t need silly things holding us back. Silly things like Lingerie Fighting Championships.
