After a week like this, we all feel like that kid that came from the dentist asking ‘Is this real life?!’. Wow. What can be said about this week that hasnt already been said about Afghanistan? My ex-girlfriend must have taught this week exactly how to toy with my emotions. Remember that stuff we used to read back in the day? It used to give us that warm fuzzy feeling inside and make our heart beat a little faster? What was that stuff called…I remember: Good News.
After nearly getting arthritis from crossing every finger and toe that I have on my body, there’s some silver lining in all of this. It’s been heavily rumored that Cheick Kongo vs. Frank Mir is on top for UFC 107 (the TUF finale, the same card with Evans and Rampage). The news is coming from Canada so we’re not sure how reliable of a source that country is. Just kidding. You can stop throwing Canadian bacon and money that has ducks on it. It was a joke (just like my entire childhood). Either way, it’s good to see Kongo come back after Cain essentially taught him that ‘Brown Pride’ means you can get rocked twice in two seperate rounds and still come back with the W. We all want this to be a stand-up war but if Mir took a lesson from Cain and Gilbert Yvel, he would take him down faster than Dustin Diamond’s career. [Source]
