Joe Lauzon teaches us how to do a real powerbomb in an actual MMA fight

Wait a minute? Is that Joe Lauzon’s music!?! The king of the UFC’s bonus system returns to the cage next month to take on Takanori Gomi but before that fight happens Lauzon has to train every mix of martial arts possible. Gomi is a former Pride champion, so it only makes sense for Lauzon to work on pro wrestling before UFC on Fox 16.

To start his UFC career, Lauzon netted post-fight bonuses in 11 of his first 14 Octagon appearances. And Lauazon wasn’t gaming the system, the 31 year old lightweight was just putting on exciting fights night in and night out. Lauzon is MMA’s showstopper and show stealer.

Though it’s not a MMA Rock Bottom, Tombstone piledriver, Stunner, or F-5, if Lauzon can pull off a powerbomb in the UFC then Dana White needs to just throw every bonus there is at the Massachusetts 155 pounder.

If only the UFC’s allowed fights in a ring for their Japan events then Lauzon could start turnbuckle powerbombing his foes at least once year. Fingers are crossed.
