There is something to fighting your way out of paradise. For ONE Championship’s Lowen Tynanes, he has managed to kickstart his pro fight career with the Hawaiian waves as his backdrop. After a 4-0 amateur career, Tynanes turned pro and proceed to run off an 8-0 record. Now labeled as one of the best Hawaiian MMA prospects to come off the islands in years, Tynanes makes his fifth appearance under the ONE Championship banner on April 15 in the Philippines versus Japan’s Koji Ando.
MiddleEasy.com spoke with Tynanes before his fight with Ando at ONE Championship 40. With the opportunity to speak with one of the best under the radar lightweights in the world we asked him about traveling with ONE, his MMA fighting father, but mostly about pizza, sharks, living in Hawaii, and maybe pizza eating sharks that swim in Hawaiian waters.
