Here’s the Fallon Fox fight that left Tamikka Brents with a concussion, broken orbital and 7 staples in her head

The world confuses me. We’re surrounded by professional athletes being rightfully decried for domestic violence and child abuse, while in MMA a person who used to be a man, is fighting women in 100% legal fashion. Yes, Fallon Fox is no longer a man, but science can’t take away everything, can it? Hormone therapy can only go so far, right? I’m not even writing these questions in a rhetorical fashion, I genuinely don’t know and like I said before, I’m confused. Maybe someone in the comment section can help me out on the minutia of sex changes. So this is the new MiddleEasy?

Last weekend Fallon Fox, who I’m 99% sure is my neighbor, (I saw her store some stuff in the garage across from my apartment) fought Tamikka Brents in a one-sided beatdown that left Brents with a broken orbital bone, a concussion and 7 staples in her head after a late-stoppage.

There’s no shortage of outrage over transgender fighter Fallon Fox, and this fight has just intensified the passions of all parties involved. Mostly heated is Fox’s opponent, Tamikka Brents, who spoke to our brothers in arms at WHOA TV and had this to say about Fox (read the full interview here):

“I’ve fought a lot of women and have never felt the strength that I felt in a fight as I did that night. I can’t answer whether it’s because she was born a man or not because I’m not a doctor. I can only say, I’ve never felt so overpowered ever in my life and I am an abnormally strong female in my own right,” she stated. “Her grip was different, I could usually move around in the clinch against other females but couldn’t move at all in Fox’s clinch.”

“I still disagree with Fox fighting, any other job or career I say have a go at it, but when it comes to a combat sport I think it just isn’t fair. At least not until we have more scientific proof that it is or isn’t fair. More research is needed for sure. Like I said, I am not a doctor, I can only say my opinion and I don’t believe that she should be allowed to fight other women. If it were strictly BJJ or wrestling or something like that sure, but MMA is a completely different sport.”

Here’s the video of the brutal fight.
