I am an unapologetic wrestling fan. This weekend they have a PPV entitled TLC, growing up my favorite matches were always the TLC matches that The Hardy Boyz, The Dudley Boyz and Edge/Christian would have. Who doesn’t love seeing Jeff Hardy take huge bumps because he was the only one crazy enough to do so? MMA would be vastly improved if they implemented some street fight rules or knockouts and submissions count anywhere matches. As a fan of both, I demand that I get my MMA version of HHH/HBK at Summerslam in 2002.
Honestly, if you think about it, Jon Jones and Frank Mir share some similarities between the two. Shawn Michaels is a very religious man and is an uber talented performer, much like Jon Jones is. HHH has an enormous ego and while hasn’t dealt with injuries as severe as Frank Mir’s motorcycle accident, he did completely tear his quad off of the bone which forced him to change his style. Unfortunately this video appears to be a work and/or is just some playful roughhousing between two teammates. A man can dream though.
