Fedor signing with Strikeforce this week?

A few days ago Fedor and his crew (of 30 russians) got on a plane and took a red eye directly to Orange County. When they arrived to America, they were notified that not only was Affliction 3 cancelled, but the entire organization disolved in the course of a few hours. As you read this, the greatest fighter in the history of MMA is sitting in a hotel room in Anaheim, California with no contract and no organization to turn to. The dude is a free agent. If you live in Anaheim and want to kick it with Fedor, just follow the trail of amputated limbs compliments of Fedor’s arm bar expertise.

Now it looks like Fedor is close to signing a non-exclusive deal (which means he will be co-promoted with M-1 Global) with Strikeforce. The deal is still part of the rumor train that is MMA, but the word is Strikeforce will let Fedor compete in Sambo tournaments as well as fight in Japan (probably with Dream) and Russia with M-1. If this is true, we can finally see that Brett Rogers vs. Fedor Emelianenko that everyone nearly had an orgasm for last week when Affliction was trying to find a replacement for Josh Barnett. In the meantime, Fedor is probably staking out in the San Diego Zoo hunting bears with overhand rights. [Source]
