Eddie Alvarez vs. Katsunori Kikuno in the works for Dream 12

If you’re not familiar with Kikuno, we suggest you watch Saw I-IV and take a really good look at that jigsaw porcelain doll. I’m pretty sure they’re related. Katsunori Kikuno has the undisputed creepiest smile in MMA. They say if life gives you lemons, make lemonade. If Dream gives you Katsunori Kikuno…just run the other way at your earliest convenience. In his Dream 10 fight against Andre Amade, dude came out to ‘We are the world’. Kikuno is on a different level. Kikuno is on a level that I never want to visit. If I ever accidentally found myself on Kikuno’s level, I would hail the nearest taxi and get the hell out of there as soon as possible. Dude is rocking a record of 14-1 with his only lost coming from a unanimous decision in DEEP.

Dream officials have now said a possible match-up with Eddie Alvarez and Katsunori Kikuno is ‘under consideration’. We’re assuming ‘under consideration’ in Japanese means they’re already making the posters as you read this. Dream has already confirmed that Alistair Overeem, Ninja Rua, Sakuraba, Paulo Filho and Yoshiro Maeda will be participating in the event. With Alvarez vs. Kikuno on the card, expect it to be another legendary bout like that Joachim Hansen/Alvarez fight which was probably the best fight in the history of MMA (and you should smack yourself in the face if you haven’t seen it yet).
