Dana White throws Georges St-Pierre under the bus, says Conor McGregor does what GSP wouldn’t

So, the UFC met with living legend Georges St-Pierre on Saturday and are already throwing him under the bus on Tuesday. In attempt to handle the Conor McGregor damage control after UFC 196, UFC president Dana White threw a ton of shade at St-Pierre. Is it time to squash the “GSP is coming back to save UFC 200” rumors yet?

While praising the heart of McGregor, White proceeded to question GSP’s lack of weight class jumping in his career. Transcribed from Fox Sports White would go on to say

“That’s the thing — nobody wants to do it. GSP would never move up to 185 to fight Anderson Silva. He wouldn’t do it. That’s what makes Saturday so fun. You know how many times we wanted to do the GSP-Anderson Silva fight? GSP would not do it. Would not do it. Guys don’t do that stuff. That’s what makes Conor McGregor so unique, so fascinating and so fun.

“For GSP he was moving up one weight class. Conor McGregor jumped up two weight classes.”
