So is UFC 203 a work or a shoot? Or is CM Punk versus Mickey Gall going to be the rare, but very real, work-shoot when the cage door shuts at UFC 203? You knew the moment a very famous WWE wrestler signed on the dotted line to fight in the UFC, whispers and rumors would begin in dark damp basements and rise up to the masses as the fight drew closer.
In pro wrestling the reality era is all the rage in 2016 and what’s more real then former multi-time WWE world champion CM Punk fighting in the UFC?
After pouring over hours, hours and hours of Phil “CM Punk” Brooks training footage maybe there are some flames behind all of that straight-edge smoke. Just look at the latest leaked footage of Punk on the grappling mats. Then take this video and examine it further in a dark room with only red lighting. Also, feel free to sit down next to a stranger on a nondescript park bench, stare straight ahead, (no eye contact!) and discuss the newest Punk rolling film.
Or just watch this video and try to believe in a scripted MMA fight going down inside a very real cage.
Guys, I don't know about you, but I think this CM Punk sparring session might have been a work. pic.twitter.com/69DRlLdMIJ
