At first we thought Thomas Almeida was wearing shades to hide the fact that he is a cybernetic organism from the future to give Cody Garbrandt the fight of his life. A Termineida if you will. Here we had two top prospects fighting at just the right time in their career in a highly anticipated bout. However, not even a time traveler could predict what Garbrandt did tonight.
After a fast-paced half of a round, Garbrandt followed Almeida as he backed into the fence and landed a bomb that ended the fight. On a card with a lot of decisions, this fight definetly stood out and propels Garbrandt a couple of spots up the rankings.
