Whenever Shane Carwin isnt battling Voltron for ownership of the galaxy, he occasionally visits earth to either confirm or deny rumors floating around regarding his presence in the MMA world. In the past, Carwin would set his fists to ‘stun’ and just overhand right anyone that gets out of line on earth (or in the galaxy). In an interview with FiveOuncesofPain.com, Carwin was forced to set his fists to ‘Shut your mouth before I rob your body of it’s genetic code’ in regards to UFC Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar.
The beef is pretty trivial in the bigger scheme of what ‘Shane Carwin’ is (Dude beat Voltron). But it was enough for Shane Carwin to call Brock Lesnar ‘a freaking liar‘. According to Lesnar, before UFC 96 Carwin and Lesnar had their punches tested to see who hit the hardest. Sounds like something that would be standard after downing a couple of Mickey’s but we’re assuming they were sober. Lesnar said: “We were told to throw the hardest right cross we could on a punching bag. I was able to rack up 1350 pounds per square inch. He did a little over 1200, making my punch harder.”
It’s hilarious how these two guys have squabbles over who can punch the hardest. I’m pretty sure anything coming at you with a force of over 1200 pounds per inch would be enough to rip through the fabric of time and space…let alone your jaw. Hopefully Carwin can drop the beef and return to defending the universe from intergalactic aliens. He’s our only hope. [Source]
