Bethe Correia acts like an asshole, then apologizes to Ronda Rousey but is still kind of an asshole

Dateline the Google Translate app that made Bethe Correia think it was a good idea to bring suicide talk into the prefight hype for her upcoming fight with Ronda Rousey. Never cool. In case the hate between Correia and Rousey wasn’t genuine, now the two best women’s face-punchers at 135 pounds have even more reason to throw caution to the wind at UFC 190 in Brazil.

In an interview with Brazilian outlet Combate, Correia first said that Rousey would turn to a life of drugs after she beats her in August (?!?!). Then Correia moved onto suicide talk after she beats Rousey in Brazil (…..um what?).

A direct quote from Correia’s interview with Combate

“She is winning, so everybody is around her cheering her up, but when she realizes she is not everything that she believes she is, I don’t know what might happen. I hope she does not kill herself later on (laughs).”

It got weird. Correia made the prefight hype for UFC 190 really weird. We can’t make eye contact with the prefight hype for UFC 190 right now.

Rousey replied to Correia on Twitter and roughly 10 hours later the Brazilian bantamweight apologized to the UFC champ via tweet. The she deleted the tweet. Then typed it again? Weird.
