Whoa. The drama between Chael Sonnen and Team Jon Jones just went to a whole different level. Is Sonnen angling for a rematch with Jones down the road? Sonnen’s tour of tossing Bones Jones under the bus made a stop at his very own podcast today.
On the latest episode of “You’re Welcome”, Sonnen welcomes Jon Jones longtime manager Malki Kawa to his podcast. And Kawa is pissed. In case you missed it, on Joe Rogan’s podcast Sonnen not only pinpointed what drug Jones was busted for, he also alleged that Bones hid under a cage for eight hours to avoid USADA officials testing him.
Sonnen has no chill or filter and Kawa enters the interview ready to verbally battle the former UFC middleweight. From the opening “hello, how are you doing” Sonnen and Kawa get into a heated debated on what Sonnen is saying publicly about Jon Jones. It’s awkward but we cannot look away.
