This is a great video! Thank you for it. I competed many years in boxing and kickboxing and because of principles #1 and #2, I am happy to say I never got into a street altercation, when many times I could have easily and would even have been warranted.

The video was kind of long so I skipped through a few parts. I did see the two examples and what they said about the dangers of ground fighting against multiple opponents. That guy got kicked pretty good when he was trying to get up. They made some good points about using movement to avoid being surrounded. They also made good points about keeping awareness of what's happening what your options are.

When Ronda got into a fight against two guys she tried to avoid the confrontation at first which is one of the points made in the video. They had the high ground on the steps of the narrow aisles of a movie theater. But when avoiding a conflict was no longer an option, Ronda used great situational awareness and turned it against the first guy when he got aggressive, which is another point made in video. She used his own momentum as he came forward to pull him with one hand while hitting him with the other so it off balanced him on the steps. When the other guy tried to grab her from behind she judo tossed him while staying standing, another point of emphasis in the video. She's a quick thinker who can fluidly adapt her strategy to gain the upper hand.

A lot of people criticize Ronda's adaptability and her initiative to cleverly adjust her strategies and tactics as situations change and new opportunities are available. She's demonstrated these skills in actual fights as well as in how she manages her career. They try to discredit her choices even though the results have proven her choices right.

They said she ducked Cyborg by fighting Tate first but then Cyborg was suspended which would've made the fight impossible anyway. They said that women would never fight in the UFC but Rousey is scheduled to headline her first UFC PPV on February 23rd. As the Gracie's said in the video, always be aware of what's happening so that you can make the appropriate decisions for the best possible outcome. Rousey has keen foresight and uncanny anticipation and situational awareness. She does a lot of research and she studies what works and doesn't work for others and selectively add things to her own repertoire.

by the way, the HuffingtonPost. com reported that the Fox News guy did in fact taunted the crowd before the altercation. so he was at least partially responsible for it -the video is edited by Fox News so, obviously, he is presented as the "victim"
