In Brazil, if Anderson Silva tells you to buy something, there’s no reason to disagree with him. The same can be said in just about any country, but Brazilian marketing experts spare no expense when it comes to selling anything from hamburgers to batteries. When business is at stake, only the best MMA fighters in the world will do. In fact, they must really want people to buy Duracell, because they just spent ‘Anderson Silva money’ making this commercial. Let’s just hope the drug manufacturers don’t figure out this strategy, the last thing I want is to see Paulo Filho flooding the anti-depressant industry with a commercial showing him out on a fishing trip.
