Here’s the Cliff’s Notes version of Miesha Tate’s three-day tirade against Ronda Rousey’s imminent UFC career.

Somewhere in Santa Monica, CA, Ronda is doing pushups in a “You mad?” tank-top while Miesha has taken to twitter and every media outlet within reach to vent her frustration over Ronda Rousey's wildfire-like growth in popularity. The past couple of days have been a nonstop drama-thon, and it’s all because nobody offered Miesha Tate the opportunity to fight Ronda for the UFC title. Somehow, Miesha Tate feels that the biggest MMA organization in the world has disrespected her when in reality, they probably just can’t read her mind. In any case, here’s what she had to say in this interview with TheSHOOT!

"It was said by Ronda and I felt it was implied by Dana (White). Dana had said that Liz (Carmouche) was the only one that stepped up and had wanted the fight and wanted to take it and what not and, you know, excuse my language, I don't usually talk like this, but I call bullshit. It's absolutely bullshit. I was never offered the fight. So whether Ronda is misinformed or she's going on another one of her tangents to get publicity, it's absolutely not the truth. I was never offered the fight and you have to be absolutely crazy to think I would ever turn down the opportunity to be the first women's MMA fight in the UFC and for a rematch with Ronda at the same time. I mean, they say you can't have your cake and eat it too, that would kind of be like having your cake and eating it too. I would have taken that in a heartbeat."

Never mind that Miesha said she wanted another fight before considering a rematch for the title following her laborious victory over Julie Kedzie, and never mind that she was 90 seconds from losing a unanimous decision before nailing a miraculous last-minute armbar… On this week’s episode of The MMA Hour, she had this to say about to all the haters that think she didn’t really want this fight.

"I had made it clear that I wanted to take some time off after my last win over Julie Kedzie, but that doesn't mean you don't make an exception to the rule when something like that is presented. Clearly when I made those statements, that was before women were coming to the UFC for sure. That was before it be would an opportunity to headline. That was before it would an opportunity to make history. If they would have said, ‘Hey, you want to fight Ronda in the UFC? You want to headline a UFC card for the first fight in history for women?' I would have been like, hell yeah. But it wasn't offered to me."

In our experience, Dana really cares what people think about his business decisions (LOL). So it’s cool that Miesha has some advice for Dana White on how to run his company.

"I think they're putting a little too many eggs in one basket. I mean, What happens if (Rousey) goes out there and she does lose to Liz for some reason? Then it's kind of like, all of this that they've put into it is all nothing. I feel like it's not maybe the smartest thing to just base everything solely off of Ronda, when clearly there's more talent and I'm also right here, too. I really feel like I was a big part of making history. If I'd just tapped out when Ronda got me in the armbar, it wouldn't have been such an explosive thing. I feel like the reason she's up for submission of the year is because of my stubbornness."

There you have it. There’s no more mystery as to why we all love Ronda Rousey. Meisha knows the only reason Ronda is famous is because she submitted her, and this whole situation is subsequently bulls**t.

That concludes the Cliff’s Notes version of what’s been going on in the past couple of days of Meisha Tate’s campaign to be the first woman in the UFC, even though she has been passed-over for the opportunity.
