Nate Diaz was just brutalized by Ben Henderson. One judge even tabulated a 50-43 decision in favor of the UFC lightweight champion. From punching Nate Diaz directly in his leg five consecutive times to landing gargantuan slams, Bendo simply had the 209's number -- and he exploited it in every possible way.

At the end of the fight, Ben Henderson expected the impossible: For the UFC audience to give him an amen. It's such a demanding question that requires entirely too much cognitive work after watching a grueling five-round title fight.

In the end, Ben Henderson wins, Nate Diaz loses, and that mysterious toothpick from Ben Henderson's mouth will be endlessly debated on MMA message boards across the world.

Layzie it was nice to see Nick after the fight showing class but he flipped Bendo off during the fight which caused Fox to have to cut away multiple times.

Expected more trolls to hate on Ben, but I'm pleasantly surprised. Diaz fought hard and was really tough. I think in R3 he had some success attacking the leg, but Bendo's sub defense is otherworldly.

I'm sad that my heroes Shogun and BJ lost, but I now have to face reality and watch this sport without getting to invested in the outcome. Anyway, there's no younger fighter that I can say I'm a big fan of. Most of the guys that I root for are veterans of early UFC and Pride.

I feel bad for Nate, I was cheering for him. You have to admit that Henderson looked excellent and won fair and square. I hope he gets the respect that he deserves as a champ now and I hope that Nate comes back stronger than ever.

Although I was cheering for Penn, Rory MacDonald looked fucking impressive. The 2nd fight between Rory and Carlos Condit should be a good one.
