Now that it's been announced that Sara McMann has been released from Invicta FC to join the ranks of Strikeforce, we're coming to the logical assumption that she will eventually face Ronda Rousey for the Strikeforce 135 lb title. Of course, all of this can only happen if Cris Cyborg refuses to drop to bantamweight -- and Gina Carano doesn't return to the sport of MMA. Don't fool yourself, the biggest PPV that can ever be assembled is not between Anderson Silva vs. Georges St. Pierre, it's Ronda Rousey vs. Gina Carano. Prove me wrong. Run the numbers in whatever computer program you can create. If ZUFFA wants to shatter all attendance and PPV records, kidnap Gina Carano from the set of The Fast and the Furious 6 and throw her in a cage.

Olympic silver medalist wrestler vs. Olympic bronze medalist judoka. That's like combat sports' version of Batman vs. Superman -- except they're not men, and we're not sure which one is from planet Krypton. Sara's striking is very basic and slow. Ronda, even though we haven't seen much of it, has very quick hands. It will go the same way all of Rousey's fights go.

Judo takedowns are not the same as wrestling takedowns. You worry about the throw and get swept or vice versa. But I do agree that Sara will pose a bigger threat than anyone else so far.

You've never watched one freestyle match in your life. Sara was the second best free style wrestler on the planet. You don't think she's seen foot sweeps, and throws? It's not like those happen in every freestyle match in history. You're ignorance isn't suprising given you're the only person on the planet that thinks Rousey has quick hands. LOL

i watched the fight between McMann and bayzler. McMann is years away from being able to try to fight ronda rousey. They are simply in very different leagues right now!
