It is a boring Wednesday morning around the office and if you are like me you are probably looking at food porn pictures of macerated berry covered waffle recipes and daydreaming about tall shirtless dutch guys wearing tight gray baseball pants while kickboxing in my bedroom. I'm fairly certain that most of you are not like me and thinking such things and my fantasies are very unique. In that case, you are probably looking for something to waste about 37 minutes of your work day on today so why not have a little look at Fedor's entire official M-1 Global contract that was leaked on the internet early this morning.

As much as we'd love to copy and paste the entire thing right here for you to read surrounded by our lovely bandwidth destroying background artwork, it is 45 pages long and that's just a bit too much scrolling for our liking. The contract was posted on the UG today by a user known only as "ShoeMoney". So if i read this correctly. Lets say Nike offers fedor 20 million to have their logo on his trunks. it cant happen, Because he gets paid by M-1. And can only wear M-1 affiliated logos? That is bullshit!

Seems like M1 just had Fedor as their branding and marketing machine,Grab one of the G.O.A.T.S and try and force every company to co-promote and put your M1 name out there,Instead of getting the guy the fights that the fans wanted to have,These guys just seem like they wanted their M1 brand out there moreso than Fedor.In the end seems like Dana and Lorenzo were right all along.

This contract is all show. The only thing legit is that M-1 makes sure that they are at the bargaining table, when other promotions seek Fedor's services. In my opinion, Fedor has a second invisible contract with M-1, where he is basically setup for life by M-1 and possibly by the Russian government as long as Fedor attaches his name to M-1 and never becomes to critical of the Russian government or the powers that be. He is humble guy and loves his country and family, so I do not blame him for making this commitment. He will forever be considered the greatest MMA fighter of all time in Russian and most of Eurasia. The rest world will probably stop giving a shit about him in 10 years or 10 years after he really retires.

This ^ may sound like a conspiracy theory but it's 100% legit that Fedor is helping promote the current Russian regime through positive public feedback (thanking Putin after wins) and supporting the church (which is in league with the ruling party).

After Couture took the belt from Sylvia Fedor should have made that fight happen, that was the time to jump to the UFC. Couture/Fedor would probably have been the biggest PPV in UFC history and Fedor would have won the fight easy and made a shit ton of cash for it.

Just to summarize the money stuff.

Sign-on bonus: $1'000'000
First fight: $2'000'000
Subs. fights: $1'000'000 to fight, $1.000.000 bonus to win.

If he fought a UFC champion, Fedor was to be paid 5 mill to fight, 1 mill to win.

Life insurance: $150'000
Heath insurance: $20'000

I don't know what the terms of the contract the UFC offered Fedor were but to be fair from what I've read (which could be wrong) it seems that Fedor was financially better off and granted more leniency with M1-Global than what any what the UFC were willing to offer.
