I really wouldn't want to argue the point is Seagal a good martial artist or who could he kill. His Aikido stuff looks legit in his old movies.I also don't know if Aikido can be used effectively in a real life combat situation.I kinda doubt it though.
I also do believe it's possible Seagal has helped Anderson with some strategies and ideas that may prove effective in a UFC contest. Why the hell not.
But, I do know Seagal doesn't have any secret lethal front snap kicks or ancient hand chops that only exist in modern times in his head . I feel that most of the things he says are delusional and his self importance\arro gance is off the charts. He comes across as bat shit crazy in a lot of the interviews he does. I guess you could argue Chael comes across crazy, but to me his shtick is just fun over the top WWF stuff not delusional.
I personally don't see Seagal as pretty humble at all. GSP is some one who comes across as humble to me, not Seagal. Just my opinion. I need another beer now.

P.S I'll probably have to eat my word tonight when Anderson unleashes a deadly knock all your teeth out with one shot flying head but that Seagal taught him:)Is a flying head butt illegal?
